The boys have spent many hours this winter feeding cows, which has been tough considering the weather. As always, Missouri weather ebbs and flows from 8 degrees below zero to 60 degrees a few days later. All of this means a lot of mud when it thaws. Despite all of it, they are keeping the cows fed and everyone (the cows and the boys) are doing pretty well.
That is the question often heard around our area. After two mild winters, and a dry fall, Mother Nature has reminded us we live in mid-Missouri. We’ve had several snowfalls, including 15 inches on January 12, 2019.
As always we look forward to an early spring, lots of sunshine and abundant crops! As always feel free to contact us at gorrellfarms@outlook.com.
